Men's Accessories: Shoes

Footwear has always been a necessity for men, irrespective of the geography, the physical nature and climate of the region in which they may reside. However this gradual drift from being a pure necessity to an out and out accessory is truly marvelous. Gone are the days when men resorted to wearing the flat heeled shoes to work and slippers at home.

With the drastic styles and fashions in women's footwear, not to be left out, men have come up with plenty of their own. Some of the trendy shoes are as follows.

The slick shiny leather pair will never go out of vogue. What is most striking is its simplicity yet dignity. It is something that will suit any formal occasion provided it is well color coordinated. The shapes and styles have evolved over the years from pointed to the rounded fronts, but it yet remains a must have in any man's wardrobe. It goes well with any formal trouser and is a must for a well groomed suit.

The next one that comes to mind is the leather pair of boots. Originally from the cowboys, this accessory has made waves worldwide. From their dusty look to the high heeled ones these boots are every teenage boy's fantasy. They go very well with denims on. They can be further embellished with metal clippings on the sides or at the heels.

The most striking, comfortable and definitely most popular are the sneakers or sports shoes. With so many brands manufacturing them in all sorts of designs and types they are a rage with all age groups. The most striking aspect is their levels of comfort and it just seems to be getting better.

Technology is being applied in full force in this field equipping these shoes with air cushioning, automatic size adjustment and what not. These shoes can be used to work, though not on formals, as also for sports and other outdoor activities.

Another very popular accessory, not so much in style, but very comfortable are the floaters. Shaped like sandals but with very good grips they are very comfortable especially when moving around the backyard or at home.

Very popular among university students, a fair share can be seen on campus too. They can be got in a variety of colors too.
